Zepto Expands 10-Minute Delivery to 10 New Cities

Zepto is expanding its 10-minute grocery delivery service into 10 additional cities, extending its dark store network beyond the metro markets where quick commerce first took hold in India. The expansion comes as competition in the category intensifies, with several well-funded rivals racing to capture tier-2 city demand.

The company says its newer dark stores are being built with a smaller footprint to make expansion into smaller cities more capital-efficient, a key concern for quick-commerce operators balancing growth against unit economics.
